Open every month, our mileage training series is there when you need an extra challenge. Whether you start the Challenge on August 1st or join in the last week, set yourself a distance goal and and make it happen!
To keep you motivated along the way, there are four milestone achievement badges to be earned. They start at 40 km and go all the way up to 160 km.
Even if you're stuck spending the month of August at work (and not on holiday), you can still lace up your shoes and escape to your favorite roads or trails. Just think of these runs as a vacation measured in hours, not days...
As a reminder, don't feel compelled to join every monthly distance Challenge. Rest your body (and mind) when needed.
Total Kilometers Run
Athletes that take part in this Challenge will receive the gift of fitness (and potentially some digital milestone badges).
The Challenge starts and ends based on each runners local time zone.
Manual entries, treadmill runs, or runs marked 'Private' will not count towards your Challenge effort.
All activities logged during the Challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than September 3rd, 2013.
