ABOUT

The BMTR Fundo is a personal challenge against the distance and/or the clock. Some participants will ride the event like a race and others will ride it more casually with their primary goal to be completing the distance.

Ultimately, it's all about getting on the bike, grouping up with others along the way and having some fun. How fast or hard you choose to ride it and how far you choose to go is up to you!

Even though it's not “officially” a race, for those that may be treating it as such, there will be end-of-event results available.


DISTANCES

The BMTR Fundo gives you a choice of four distances: 65, 55, 45 and 35 miles (105, 89, 72 and 56 km); all four take place on the London Triple Loops Route.


ROUTE DESCRIPTION

London’s “Triple Loops” route is a 25.4 mile (41 km) loop containing three smaller loops within it. First you hit the Greater London loop, then the Classique, then ride over Leith Hill to a loop which includes Box Hill. Then you’re back through the start/finish banner to do it all again! The route is essentially flat for the first half, then very hilly for the back half; a bit like Zwift’s Richmond UCI course in that respect, except much longer (https://zwiftinsider.com/triple-loops/ ).


ELEVATION

35 Mile Route: 2,000 ft. (610 m)
45 Mile Route: 2,800 ft. (853 m)
55 Mile Route: 3,500 ft. (1,067 m)
65 Mile Route: 3,900 ft. (1,189 m)


GROUPS

Unlike other Zwift events, the A, B, C and D groups of the BMTR Fundo do not refer to rider strength or fitness. Instead, they correspond to distance.

- A Group: 65 Miles - The A group is not a faster group, just a group that wants to ride this distance.

- B Group: 55 Miles - The B group is not a slower group, just a group that wants to ride this distance. .

- C Group: 45 Miles - The C group is not a slower group, just a group that wants to ride this distance.

- D Group: 35 Miles - The D group is not a slower group, just a group that wants to ride this distance.
