BLUE SOCKS TRAINING RIDE (RIDE CANCELLED)

Keep your blue socks dry.

This morning Bicycle Network staff and Team Bicycle Network riders met to discuss the weather forecast for Saturday February 1 at Kinglake.

The consensus was that there was sufficient uncertainty that we should not go ahead with the training ride. We imagined 60 riders doing three or four repeats of the Kinglake hill, which equates to 200 descents of the hill in the wet. The chances of coming down are probably greater than one in 200.

If it is dry you might want to go for a ride, and if it is wet you might want to ride indoors. Either way keep an eye out for Dr Stephen Lane's next Peaks Challenge training video on facebook and an eye on Strava for our upcoming rides.
