Safe Ride to Wine Country
Cycling Route
Details
14.53 mi
1,092 ft
This is a safe route that takes the rider on hard packed multi - use trails, country roads, well graded gravel, legal wide sidewalks, and one small segment of safe class II bike lane.
This is a very aesthetic ride with wine country, mountain, and city views. The second half of the loop takes you through vineyards and is mostly down hill and flat. The middle part of the ride is hilly and has some fairly taxing climbs on Linda Rosea Road.
This route can be ridden on mountain bikes, ebikes, gravel bikes, and hybrids. Road bikes can take the same route by substituting the class II bike lanes that parallel the trails and legal sidewalks, (some portaging over rock gardens and sand may be necessary).
